2003-2004 All-Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Squad

The 2003-2004 Capital Athletic Conference All-CAC men’s basketball team was announced on Monday afternoon after voting by the league’s coaches.
The Catholic University Cardinals, the tournament champions, placed a two players on the all-conference squad. Catholic’s senior forward Will Morley earned the conference Player of the Year award. Mary Washington’s Mike Lee was selected as the league’s Rookie of the Year and St. Mary’s head coach Brock Kantrow was selected by his peers as the CAC Coach of the Year
In addition to Catholic’s two players on the teams, Mary Washington, Marymount and Goucher each placed two players on the two squads. York and Gallaudet each had one player earn first-team honors.
Catholic earned the automatic bid with their tournament victory over Mary Washington. The Cardinals have won 23 games and 13 straight heading into the NCAA Tournament. Mary Washington ended the season having won 20 games for the second consecutive season.
