2004 All-Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Squad

The Salisbury University Sea Gulls, the 2004 men’s lacrosse regular season and tournament champions, placed a league-high 10 players on the 2004 All-CAC teams as the voting of the league’s coaches was released on Monday morning.
The Sea Gulls’ senior defender Eric Martin was selected as the CAC Player of the Year. St. Mary’s freshman goalkeeper Rich Barr and York’s freshman attach Andrew Collins shared the league’s Rookie of the Year award while Barr’s head coach, Jayme Block, was tabbed by his peers as Coach of the Year after leading the Seahawks to the CAC championship game.
St. Mary’s placed five players on the two squads while regular runner-up Mary Washington and Goucher College each had three players selected. York College was the other squad to be represented with a first-team selection.
The Sea Gulls advance to the NCAA Tournament for the 16th straight year, the longest current streak in Division III lacrosse. The Sea Gulls head into the NCAA tournament as the nation’s lone unbeaten team at 16-0.
