Contact: Contact Chet Kresge ckresge(at)ycp.edu about becoming the team leader of this project When: Spring Semester Aimed For: High School/ College Students Faculty Advisor: Jay Azriel What is the Entrepreneurship Symposium? The Entrepreneurship Symposium will be held on Saturday, November 22nd this year. The symposium consists of many workshops that give useful information to anyone who is thinking about starting their own business or someone who has just recently opened their own business. Certain workshops are created for high school and college students only, while others are intended for adults. Workshops for this year include: Starting a part-time business, “Show me the money,” Doing business with the Commonwealth, Growing your existing business, Franchising facts, and the Marketing Mix. What are the student roles? The workshops that are held for the high school and college students are SIFE’s main responsibility. There is a lot of freedom in the material that will be covered in these workshops. Planning is necessary, as each workshop should be taught by a handful of students. 6-8 students are needed to join this team.
