SIFE hosts Girl Scouts at the college to help them earn a York College SIFE patch throughout the year. The project involves junior level girl scouts (ages 9-12) in activities and discussions relating to basic money skills. These skills include spending and saving habits. We also discuss the importance of higher education. At the end of the session, the girls will receive their patch for completing both sessions. The two, four hour sessions will be held on Saturday November 8th and Saturday February 21st from 9am-1pm in the William Walker Room.

We meet about twice a month to plan the activities for the two dates, and would welcome more help with the planning aspect of this project. Need about 5 more students to help out. We will need help setting up and taking down on Nov. 8th and Feb. 21st.
